PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION The faculty and staff of Berrien Middle School believe that school should be a place where encouragement abounds and every student succeeds. We accept the responsibility of preparing every student in the sequential process of learning by providing a climate that enhances positive growth-socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. In addition, we believe school should be a place where team efforts of students and staff are encouraged, appreciated, and rewarded. We believe school should be a place where teachers and parents work together to inspire each student to reach his or her potential. In conclusion, school should be a place where everyone is held accountable to common expectations yet encouraged to set personal goals and to pursue individual interests.
